The Town of Belmont Tax Rate was set on Friday, November 7, 2025.

The tax rate was set at $17.39 per $1,000 of assessed value.  This is a $1.65 increase (10.48%) from the 2024 rate of $15.74.  This rate is similar to 2023.

The Local and State Education tax  combined is 63.71%, the Municipal portion is 30.99% and the County portion is 5.29%.

It is anticipated that tax bills will be in the mail by the end of this week (11/14) with a due date projected to be around December 16th.

Once tax bills are ready they will be immediately available on our website at belmontnh.gov > Departments > Town Clerk/Tax Collector.
