Winter Parking Ban from November 15^th to April 30^th

The Town of Belmont has issued a Winter Parking Ban from November 15^th to April 30^th.

There shall be no overnight parking of any vehicles along the roadways during this time.

The Public Works Department understands the hardship this may cause to some of the citizens residing in the downtown area and because of this, allows vehicles to park overnight in the Municipal parking area near the Library.

We ask for your cooperation during winter weather events.  Please consolidate vehicles that are left overnight to the front, right of the parking lot closest to Main Street as you pull into the Lot.  This will allow for snow removal to take place efficiently and reduce the risk of damage occurring to private vehicles left overnight.

Immediately after the storm, please clean your vehicle off in place, leaving the snow where it was parked and move to a spot that has been plowed and treated for your safety.  If possible, park consolidated as before to reduce obstacles for plow personnel.

The Town of Belmont, Public Works Department takes pride in the maintenance it provides to the Citizens of Belmont.  This simple winter storm procedure will help achieve the high level of service we strive for.  We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
