Oil burner permits are issued to residents, as well as businesses, in order to install and operate oil burning equipment in compliance with R.S.A. 153:5 and the N.H. State Fire Code.
Information needed to apply for this permit includes:
1) Property owner's name, address, and phone number.
2) Occupant's name, address, and phone number if different from the owner.
3) Make and serial number of the oil burner (not required for a tank replacement only).
4) Tank size and location.
5) Installer's name, business name, address, and phone number.

The property owner or the person installing the equipment will need to stop by the station between 7:00am and 7:00pm Monday through Sunday to apply for the permit BEFORE work on the equipment is initiated. Once the work is complete, the owner or occupant must call in for an inspection of the unit.
