As of January 1, 2023, a new automated residential curbside collection contract commenced with Casella which includes both trash and recycling collected curbside.

Trash will be collected every week on your location's scheduled collection day.

Recycling will be collected every other week, starting the week of January 8, 2024.

The contractor may run separate trucks for trash and recycling collection however both trash and recycling will be collected the same day. Trash and recycling must be curbside by 7:00 a.m. on collection day. Residents who have municipal curbside trash and recycling pickup can call (603)267-8300 x118 for the correct pickup day for their street. Pickups may be delayed by one day for Holidays including Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Please refer to the Holiday Pickup Schedule Notice at the top of this page or the 2024 Calendar below for the detailed schedule.

Residents must use the 95-gallon (or 65-gallon) trash and recycling carts provided.  These carts were delivered to each residence between December 6th and 10th, 2023.  Trash and recycling not contained within one of the new carts will not be collected.  Instructions and informational packets were provided with each set of carts.

Commercial Dumpsters

Commercial Dumpster required for businesses and multi-family dwelling units

Attention Business Owners and Multi-Family Units (in excess of 3) – In accordance with the Town’s Solid Waste Ordinance you are required to have a commercial dumpster. It has been brought to the Town’s attention that there has been some misuse of our Curbside Collection program and commercial waste is being collected curbside. We have notified our vendor, Casella, that our ordinance does not allow for the collection of commercial waste and we have asked them to educate their drivers not to collect from businesses and multi-family units. If you are a commercial business or you have tenants in a multi-family building (in excess of 3), please comply with the ordinance and avoid a violation. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.  Solid Waste Ordinance
