Property Tax Bills and Payments

Property Tax Bills are issued twice yearly:

  • First issue tax bills, usually due July 1st are based on one-half of the prior year’s tax bill (check bill for actual due date)
  • Second issue tax bills, due in December are based on the new tax rate

To see the history of how the tax rate has been calculated and applied between the Municipal, County, School, and State Edcuation tax:  Tax Rate History (PDF)

More information about revaluations, assessments, tax rates, exemptions, credits, abatements, tax cards, tax maps and more can be found on our Assessing Department web page.
